Assalamualaikum wbt.

For this week, I plan to write on BPL since i’ve written my articles on Malaysian football and alhamdulillah, i’ve received good & valuable feed backs from the readers & followers. For this time around, I attempt to write on BPL, the most popular league on the earth and the championship.

We can see that Manchester United are leading the table, with the recent slump on Manchester City which they draw 3-3 with Sunderland last night. Well, things are going unexpectedly in this season’s BPL. Nobody can expect any outcome from the matches, even it involves this two teams. For example, Manchester United lost 3-2 at home to Blackburn Rovers and a humiliating results, lost 6-1 at home to Manchester City. But now, they are the one who are leading the table. It’s a complete surprise, but it’s not possible.

Looking back to Manchester City’s recent games, they have drop points when they should had earn 3 valuable points. They starts their season well, but it started when Chelsea beat them 2-1 at Stamford Bridge, when Chelsea during AVB period were not strong as a team like unlike previous season. The turning point here was when they lost to newcomer Swansea 1-0 and draw 3-3 with Sunderland at home, in front of their fans.

We as the fans may believe that this is the toughest season of EPL, as big teams cannot expect to win easily like previous season. Even big teams can be beaten with a huge margin. Take for example a humiliating defeat of Arsenal at Old Trafford, well beaten by United 8-2. Mancheseter United’s amazing comeback from 3-0 down at Stamford Bridge to earn a valuable draw 3-3. Underachivers like Wigan & Bolton can still give a scare to big teams to earn a valuable results. Not to mention the team of the year (for me) Swansea who plays beautiful football who beat Manchester City 1-0. There’s so much drama in BPL as well when Patrick Viera’s comment on United’s special treatment by the referee when playing at Old Trafford. There’s 7-8 games remaining and we cant wait to see who will be crown as the champion. The game between these two team at Etihad Stadium will be a massive game & a huge turning point for the title race.

Well, what a season to remember 😀
